My Yoga journey started in Jan 2011 when I first set foot in Peace Yoga gallery.
I had been taking some Yoga off and on in 2005-2006 but it wasn’t until I met Cheri Rae who passionately taught a challenging Ashtanga based class which lasted two and half hour that left me dripping with sweat and exhausted, yet exhilarated and peaceful.
Something shifted during that class…
Cheri urged me to come back the very next day with the promise of live harp music and I immediately said YES!
Little did I know that day that everything in my life was about to change completely…
It was like layers began to peel away, my body, my mind and my heart burst wide open allowing me to fall deeply in love with this ancient transformative practice.
Yoga became my way of life, I completely dedicated myself to my practice, I became a strict vegetarian, devoured spiritual books, took up chanting and harmonium, currently studying with the talented Sheela Bringi.
Over the past 5 years I’ve attended many transformational workshops, retreats and yoga festivals, practicing and studying with some of the best teachers all over LA.
In 2014, I felt the call to go deeper, I signed up for my first 200 Hour Yoga Teacher training with a world famous teacher, Annie Carpenter, which was an amazing experience!
In 2015, I completed my second teacher training in the Bhakti Yoga tradition, the Yoga of Devotion with Govind Das at BYS. Shortly after that I took my first trip to Mother India, where I studied at a beautiful and remote ashram in Rishikesh by the Ganges river.
I’m constantly amazed at how much Yoga helps to cope with the daily stress of life, especially in the fashion industry!
It has helped me achieve much needed personal balance and growth.
Yoga continues to inspire me to live each moment with more awareness,
loving kindness and grace.
I am deeply grateful for the loving wisdom my teachers have shared with me.
I seek to help others thrive in life by nurturing body, mind, and soul with yoga.
